There ain’t-a-horse that’s never been rode,
Of that there is no doubt and likewise,
There ain’t-a-man that’s never been throw’ed!
Everything in nature has its peculiar weaknesses,
And that is the conundrum we all must accept!
There ain’t-a-horse that’s never been rode.
As we go through life,
Failure and mistakes remind us that,
There ain’t-a-man that’s never been throw’ed!
It is a useless waste of time to deny,
Or sit around after a defeat crying; just realize,
There ain’t-a-horse that’s never been rode!
As you go through life,
You’ll gain experience’s that helps you accept,
There ain’t-a-man that’s never been throw’ed!
Day by day commit to do your best,
But you must realize the truth you can’t deny,
There ain’t-a-horse that’s never been rode,
There ain’t-a-man that’s never been throw’ed!
Envoi: Author’s Guiding Comments for Action:
Day by day learn to mitigate your disappointments and weaknesses;
In turn, nurture your strengths by keeping your chin up
and your ears over your shoulders no matter the circumstances!
Good posture accommodates good blood flow to your brain so it works better!
Realize life is imperfect and all we do in it is imperfect,
Day by day with an adventurous spirit just keep working towards
that unachievable goal, “Perfection”!
The phenomenal Art of living is just like anything else;
it takes constant and diligent practice to sustain it!
If you don’t practice, you can’t expect progress;
don’t practice long enough and you’ll forget how you’ve done it before:)
Good luck requires constant and diligent effort, no doubt!
ENVOI FOR THE STANZAS OF THIS POEM:
Know that no one has every gone through life that has never met loss, sorrow, disappointment and failure.
You must understand and accept the fact that everyone has weaknesses as well as strengths: One cannot exist without the other! Your challenge is to learn how to negotiate weaknesses into strengths.
It’s what you do positively with your weaknesses and your strengths that make a difference to yourself and others.
You are not alone in experiencing failures, disappointments,sorrows, fears and weaknesses. It’s what you do and how you respond that builds you up or tears you down.Choosing to respond positively avoids escalating what may be threatening to strike you down!
Knowing that you are not alone when it comes to disappointments suggests that others have found ways to overcome and benefit from what was challenging or had disappointed them. If others can overcome dissapointments, why not you?
Responding positively has to do with imagining each failure, each dissapointent, each misfortune is like ashes of a forest fire that serve as fertilizer to nurture new growth and new opportunities. Every experience of your life can be like a bridge to a new life adventure. Go forth each day with this attitude, If it is to be, it is up to me!
You have two choices to respond to every event in your life, positively or unfavorably. Responding positively helps you proceed courageously with promise of positive results. Respond negatively and you are guaranteed to slip further and further into more severe negative experiences.
P.S. Having good luck is as challenging as having bad luck or misfortune: Each requires a positive response to sustain and maintain a quality-fun-life.
