“Resisting Incivility for Your Wellbeing and The Common Good”
Purpose: Creating awareness, knowledge and ways to manage, maintain, improve and sustain human quality of life by resisting the evils of incivility that leads to disregard, misery, violence and warring that denigrates the quality of life for all in common!
“Resisting Incivility for The Common Good”
Civility versus incivility,
Struggling in opposition,
One mindful and the other disregarding!
Civility resisting incivility,
Right versus wrong
Survival for the common good!
Acts of civility resisting unkindness and disregard for others,
Doing the right thing for the common good,
Practicing the art of mindful resistance to incivility!
A civic minded conscience in contention with incivility,
Resisting uncivil attitudes and behaviors of disregard and violence,
Doing the right thing for the good of all in common!
Where there is civility there too is contending incivility,
You can’t have one without the other,
Bad attitudes and habits challenging civility,
Realizing nothing exists without its opposite,
Day by day incivility challenges everyone!
To resist incivility for the common good of all,
Especially your own quality of life and living,
Practice the social arts of,
Understanding, Valuing, Caring and Respect,
Civil attitudes, behaviors and habits begin with you and me!
Life is an ongoing struggle for doing the right thing. Civility requires daily positive response to managing, maintaining and practicing the social arts of Understanding, Valuing, Caring and Respect for the benefit of the common good! “We get from life what we give to it.” Blooming Bobville the practical teacher poet.
