*Introduction: Your attitude determines how you react to adversity. Your ability to respond positively, to overcome, to survive and to thrive, depends upon what you mostly think. “Cares” by Edgar Guest has helped this author survive and thrive for over 50 years. You can find it on this website. Go to the archives.
* The intent of this poem is to offer you tools to help you respond positively … A positive-response-attitude keeps your life-quality afloat! … As a matter of fact, I go to this blog for refreshing my own soul and mental state as needs! Memorizing and reciting positive response poetry does work when you diligently work it, day by day!

Envoi: Day by day, what you mostly read and think influences the way you’ll respond to on-going change, occasional misfortune and the fickle uncertainties of life and living. Reading, reciting and writing positive poetry prepares you to respond positively in a way that builds you up. Negative responses and negative thinking creates a garden of stinking thinking that drags you down. It’s your choice, “Up” or “Down, which do you habitually choose?”
