What Everyone Needs and Wants: The Power of Greetings and Visual Salutations
Stanza #1.
Expressions of Good Morning, Good Evening, Happy Day, Thank You,
Mingled with a visual friendly wave of your hand, a smile or thumbs up,
Are essential examples of recognitions that acknowledge others’ humanity and sense of belonging!

Envoi-1*Being acknowledged by others, being accepted by others is a vital human need and want that rescues human beings from the ravages of discontent, prejudice and loneliness. In addition to verbal salutations, there are visible recognitions of acceptance and friendship such as a friendly wave, a smile or a thumbs up gesture that conveys acceptance and respect for another’s existence.
Stanza #2.
Simple oral and visible greetings, as you engage or meet with others,
Are effective and valuable ways to validate the existence of others’ and show respect.
Whenever you hear the greeting of good morning or happy to see you, relish the uplifting and joyful resonance in your soul!
Envoi-2-1 *The next time someone pleasantly greets you, orally and/or visibly, note the joyful uplift you feel in your soul! When you acknowledge others with respect, you become an MVP, a-most-valuable-person to the receiver. A “no-cost” greeting makes the whole world a better place, immediately, for you and others!
Envoi-2-2 *Everyone needs and wants respect! Everyone needs and wants to belong! Everyone needs and wants to experience the acts of understanding, valuing, caring and respect!
In summary: We all need love to avoid the ravages of discontent, prejudice and loneliness!
Stanza#3.
There is no “out of pocket” expense for greeting and showing respect for others;
It is important to offer a cheerful good morning, good day, a smile or a friendly thumbs-up,
Because each is an essential act of recognition that acknowledges others’ humanity and sense of belonging!
Envoi-3*Greetings and visible salutations are expressions of belonging, caring, goodwill and respect. They are simple and effective ways to tear down the walls of discontent prejudice and loneliness.
*In addition, valuing, caring and respect are acts that subdue risky behaviors, self abuse and the ravages of loneliness. Greetings and visible salutations are recognitions everyone needs and wants for sensing the need for belonging, contentment, joy and happiness.
Stanza #4.
Everyone has a natural need and want to belong and feel valued and respected.
Greetings such as good morning, good day to you, and a friendly salute or hand wave,
Are essential examples of recognition that acknowledge others’ humanity and sense of belonging!
Envoi-4*As you engage with or meet others, the simple courtesy of acknowledging and validating their existence with a greeting is a way to develop and sustain respect for the humanity of others and the value of your own existence!
Stanza #5.
Everyone needs and wants the warmth of oral or visual greetings,
A friendly hello and visible salutations like a smile or hand wave are easy.
Simple and sincere greetings are reciprocal support that are basic to acceptance and belonging!
Envoi-5* Everyone wants to experience acceptance and belonging. Both audible expressions and visual greetings of approval and recognition root out the ravages of discontent, prejudice and loneliness that are basic weaknesses all human beings experience from time to time.
Stanza #6.
Your purpose on earth is to be of service to others,
To understand, to value, to care about and respect all others,
With a good morning, a good day, a friendly wave or a smile because those,
Are essential acts of acknowledging all others’ humanity and sense of belonging!
Envoi-6* When engaging or meeting others, practice the simple acts of courteous-greetings and or visible-friendly-salutations. Expressive greetings, audible and or visible salutes are uplifting ways to improve the existence of others and your own self. Your pleasant and sincere greetings are acts or behaviors that convey acceptance, belonging and respect. Acceptance, belonging and respect is what everyone wants and needs for controlling discontent, prejudice and loneliness. Your friendly response to others makes you an MVP to all who experience your courtesy and respect!
