Epilogue To The Poem, “My Fickle Heart: Contrition, Loneliness and Retribution”
My stone cold fickle heart,
Is beginning to smart!
It has got me into a heart wrenching pickle,
That’s what can happen when you are fickle!
Sadness grief and regret,
Has indeed got me upset!
I’ve learned the hard way,
Never again to let my heart go astray!
I am now without a sweetie-pie for quite awhile,
Being alone is like living in exile!
My fickle heart has led me to extreme grief,
Shall I never find relief?
